Autostereoscopic 3D Displays Could be Big Hit

for Advertising Applications

The 245-page report looks at AS-3D displays that are larger than 26 inches in diagonal and aimed at professional, not TV, use.

 

The WOW factor of AS-3D displays is very appealing for advertisers and entertainers.  And, with the rapid growth of digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising, the ability to add a 3D component to the advertising mix is very attractive.  More importantly, AS-3D displays can leverage the infrastructure being deployed for 2D digital signage, which will help speed adoption.
