Two NEW versions of DisplayMate software are available from Insight Media - DISPLAYMate Multimedia with Calibration & Test Photos Edition and DISPLAYMate Multimedia with Motion Bitmaps Edition, for testing response time, motion blur and motion artifacts. DISPLAYMate Multimedia with Test Photos Edition

An enhanced version of the standard Multimedia Edition that adds a carefully chosen set of very high quality high resolution photographs for calibrating, testing, evaluating and tweaking monitors, projectors and HDTVs, automatically scaled to the native resolution of the display. Includes everything in the standard Multimedia Edition, including DisplayMate’s set of 500+ test patterns. Runs under all 32-bit versions of Windows Vista and XP.

This edition includes 35 photographs* in six categories:

• Scenes with Absolute Color References
• Reduced or Subdued Lighting
• Smooth Intensity Gradients

DISPLAYMate Multimedia with Motion Bitmaps Edition

This edition includes a Motion Engine that moves a special set of test patterns and test photos to measure and evaluate response time, motion blur and motion artifacts in displays and projectors for different speeds, directions, intensities and colors. Runs under all 32-bit versions of Windows Vista and XP. Includes everything in the standard Multimedia Edition.

Features & benefits:

• There are 25 special test patterns designed specifically for motion analysis. There are also 35 specially chosen photographs so you can visually evaluate how speed, motion blur and motion artifacts affect real images.
• There are 8 Motion Cycles: Horizontal, Vertical, Diagonal Left, Diagonal Right, Horizontal and Vertical, Triangular Left, Triangular Right, and Rectangular. Motion options include: Automatic Motion, Repeat Motion, Continuous Motion and Calibrate Motion.
• There are 51 calibrated speeds. Each step increases or decreases the speed of motion by 10 percent (exponential relationship). The 51 steps cover a total speed range of 129:1. For every motion cycle DisplayMate measures and reports the actual on-screen speed in pixels per second.
