Insight Media University and the 3D Film Festival are pleased to announce the 3D Academy workshop series “ 3D From Lens to Screen” at the upcoming 3D Film Festival Hollywood. The workshop will be presented by Insight Media President and well-known industry veteran, Chris Chinnock.

“Our aim is to provide attendees with a good foundation in all aspects of 3D, from content creation, through distribution and presentation on consumer and professional displays,” noted Chinnock. “We will have a special emphasis on 3D basics, 3D creation and 3D camera issues to tailor to the needs of the Hollywood community, including demonstrations of key concepts in 3D.”

The 4-day event will be held on September 30 – October 3, in Los Angeles, California. The workshop series will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the RealD Theater at the Los Angeles Film School.

A full day of intermediate and basic 3D workshops are planned, geared at film students and industry professionals in content creation and post production, as well as others with a need to know about 3D in professional and consumer applications.
