Insight Media Releases New Report on the Human Factors of Pico/Micro Projectors
Extracted from the 2011 Pico/Micro Projector series of reports

Insight Media, a leader in advanced display technology and markets, has released a new report called the Pico/Micro Projector Human Factors Analysis report. The report analyzes how colorimetry, choices of LED and laser wavelength, brightness, contrast, resolution, and text readability all impact the quality of the experience when viewing a pico or micro projector using solid state light sources. The report also discusses the issues with laser safety.

"There are many decisions that pico/micro projector makers can make that impact the human factors aspects of viewing content on these projectors," notes lead analyst, Matthew Brennesholtz. "We have looked at all these factors to understand how choices are inter-related and how they impact image quality and viewing experience. These are all very critical components of the end users' buying decision, so good choices can impact sales."

Brennesholtz is also the author of the well-regarded textbook, "Projection Displays," and is a leading authority on the technical aspects of projection systems.

The report is available immediately as a pdf file for site license for $300.
