In addition to the previously announced speakers and sponsors, Sony and Newsight have signed up as Gold and Silver sponsors, respectively.

Newsight CTO Keith Fredericks will join the session on 3D Public Displays. His talk will focus on the need for an integrated solution to 3D digital signage- you need to have a display, network, software and content. He will present some case studies that show how they are providing this type of solution along with some of the lessons learned along the way.

Joining Fredricks in this session is another new speaker, Jeremey Tear from GTC Consultants. The title of Tear's talk is, "Does 3D Advertising Increase Brand Retention?" He also will present some case studies of 3D public display deployments as well as market research that has been done to assess the effectiveness of 3D advertising. Philips 3D Solution's Rob de Vogel will also speak in this session and participate in the panel discussion.

Sony's Andre Floyd will moderate the 3D Visualization session on the second day of the event. This session will focus on providing several end-user speakers who will collectively provide information on several 3D visualization installations. Understanding how the systems are built, how they are used and the features and benefits are among the most asked questions by the buyers of these systems. This session is geared toward those buyers or system integrators so they can gain a much better understanding of this technology and its uses, and assess the growing maturity of the 3D industry. Speakers will be announced soon.

During and after this session, the exhibition area will be open for FREE to the public. This is a great way to see some innovative 3D display systems and learn about the state of the industry. After all, 3D displays must be seen and we want to make it easy for interested attendees to do so.
