Consultant/Analyst Position Available

Insight Media, an internationally recognized display industry media and consulting organization, is seeking a Consultant/Analyst Specializing in LCDs, plasma or OLED Display Systems.

Consultant/analyst must have a strong engineering background, preferably with an advanced degree.

Main duties include the research/writing of in-depth market/technology reports on LCD, PDP or OLED display systems, such as the reports our company has published previously. (http://www.insightmedia.info/yearlyreports.php)

This includes in-depth analysis of the display technology, optical materials and subsystems, driving electronics, manufacturing processes, BOM analysis and market analysis. For the latter, understanding competitive products, competitor positions and strategies, value propositions, trend analysis and market growth analysis is required. All this is needed to create forecasts for next generation and/or emerging technologies and products.

The ability to allocate the time and bandwidth to focus on multiple month-long projects is critical. The ability to self manage and be resourceful is critical. We will provide the necessary guidance, training and feedback during the project, enabling you to develop/increase your consulting skills.

This is a contracted position. Opportunities also exist for custom consulting projects and for writing assignments to cover this industry for our monthly reports.

Position location is open. Insight Media is located in Norwalk CT, 30 miles from New York City, but moving into the area is not required. Occasional domestic and foreign travel is required.
