PRODUCTS ON DISPLAY IN THE MAIN EXHIBITION AREA INCLUDE:

Corning® Green Laser G-1000 is an efficient, compact, high-speed, and powerful green laser optimized for use as a light source in laser-based display devices. The technology is focused on making small and portable projection possible by embedding them into consumer electronic devices such as mobile handsets, micro-projectors, PDAs (personal digital assistant), laptops, portable media units, i.e., MP3 players. Simply stated, green lasers are the keystone (critical) component required for ultra-compact and ultra-portable projectors. www.corning.com.

XL-A-Vision is the first display technology that uses low lumen, inexpensive projectors to exceed the brightness, contrast and overall performance of plasma, LCD and LED at a fraction of the cost. Ideal for in-store networks, malls and shopping centers, casinos, airports, and churches, as well as sports, entertainment and informational venues, XL-A-Vision is lightweight, easy to install, extremely durable, rejects ambient light and optimizes the inherent performance capabilities of digital projectors and media players. For more information about how this revolutionary extra-large digital display can help you stop traffic, generate revenue and increase profits, visit our booth or go to: www.xlavision.com.

Aurora Systems Inc. is the world's largest private supplier of liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS) devices for projection application. Our digital LCOS design is backed by a rich patent portfolio for both high and low resolution projection in consumer electronics, mobile viewing solutions, industrial and automobile application and aviation. Our ASI1016 is a single panel color field sequential device with VGA resolution. The active array of the imager has a 4.5 mm (0.177") diagonal on a die size of only 5.2 mm by 7.5 mm. Patented image processing and fast response liquid crystal combine to provide 24-bit image quality at relatively low bandwidth. www.aurora-sys.com.

Wavien, a technology company based in California, specializes in the development of high performance brightness preserving systems for the front projector, RPTVs, and recently micro-projectors. Wavien currently offers its unique "Dual Paraboloid Reflector" (DPR") technology using ultra-high-pressure arc lamps. Wavien is also moving into the LED illumination market using Wavien's "Recycling Light Pipe" (RLP") and multiplexing technology. Both these technologies improve lamp life, brightness, and efficiency when teamed with applications in the projection display industry. Wavien, Inc. continues to build on its extensive patent portfolio with additions in the areas of LED brightness improvement, front and rear projection. www.wavien.com.

3M has created a tiny projection engine with the prerequisite size and efficiency to integrate larger displays into devices that, until now, have only been imagined. At the heart of the projection engine are 3M advanced proprietary materials and innovative optical design. Ready for commercialization now, 3M Mobile Projection engines enable transformation of any mobile handheld device from a limited personal display into an eye-popping visual experience for the world to see. www.mmm.com.
