ShowStoppers at CES is an event that is important enough to our readers that we decided to bring it to your attention.  This is a great opportunity for your company to meet with 800 qualified media reporters and analysts to show them your technology, product or application.  ShowStoppers is an event specifically geared to facilitate media/analyst coverage of companies at CES.  We have attended ShowStoppers in the past as media representatives and found the format quite efficient and useful.  I suspect the exhibiting companies found the media coverage quite valuable, too.  So if media coverage is one of your goals in attending CES, you should take a careful look at this opportunity, as detailed below.

A Winning Format:
ShowStoppers at CES is a press-only reception that will be held on January 8th.   It is back at the Wynn Hotel for a repeat performance of last January's event, but will be even bigger and better.  It is an after-hours special event that encourages face-to-face, one-to-one conversations with the media to build relationships and generate media coverage.  By holding a separate evening event, you avoid the distractions of the convention floor.

ShowStoppers will provide the press with gourmet food and an open bar - all of which frees you to focus on the most important job of the evening - shaking hands with the reporters and analysts looking for breaking news and compelling stories to cover.

With more than 800 members of the press registered to attend, you will get some media coverage.   Plus, you won't miss the Bowl Series Championship Game - - it will be on the big screens in the room.  Then, there are the PC World Magazine annual awards, interview opportunities on numerous radio broadcasts stations, and many other exciting events around ShowStoppers

It's Easy to Participate:
You don't have to set up a fancy booth at ShowStoppers.    The set up consists of a black-skirted table, a sign with your company's logo on a pole and electrical services.  Internet and monitor rentals are available at an additional cost.  Just bring your team and an appropriately-sized technology or product to showcase your company.  ShowStoppers will take care of everything including adding your press materials to the press kit that is given to every reporter/analyst who attends.

In addition, ShowStoppers will provide you with a list of press as they RSVP.  This is critical as we collect newsbeat information that you can use to target specific press covering your product segment.  We blast out your product blurb to over 9000 media on our invitation list, and we include your press kit on a USB memory stick - compliments of Kingston.  Naturally, we send you a final attendee list as well.
